First of all, Thanks Dave for his skills sharing and great patience for our slow work. He gave us many advices and useful information about bowl turning and greenwood working, for example, what tools we should get for bowl and cup turning, how to get in touch with different people in the field, etc. We also chatted with Wing and other members, we definitely felt the wonderful vibe of LGW. It is a fruitful experience to us indeed. Hopefully we can bring back the joy of greenwood working to our home town.

A brilliant day focused on learning skills and making one object in a peaceful setting. No distractions - just physical and social engagement. Like a day-long meditation! Dave's a great teacher - calm and clear and able to let us get on with the practical tasks on our own while also able to give attention if needed. I finished the day with a bowl I'm very happy with and an immense sense of achievement.
